Question about Gretsch vintage tom bearing edges

Hello,

I'm searching for some information about Gretsch bearing edges.

I have two Gretsch vintage kits with different bearing edges :
My square badge quit from the mid 70's has toms with rounded edges.
The 12" and 14" toms of my round badge progressive jazz kit from the mid 60's have 30° edges on the outside of the shells. The bass drum and snare have the 30° edges on the inside of the shell.

Has someone seen these outside 30° bearing edges ? I didn't saw other round badges toms, so I'm wondering about this subject.

I can't make picture at the moment, maybe next week.
