DW Collector Series All Maple Snare

hi, I'm new to the forum and have learned lots in a couple of weeks.

I'm wondering if anybody owns a DW all maple snare or has played it? What are your thoughts?

I used to own one (10+6), and it was a great versatile snare that could handle every situation I threw at it. It sounded good throughout its entire tuning range and was sensitive and gutsy all in one.

...then I got my hands on a DW/Craviotto snare, which covered all of the bases of the Collector Series, but added a sense of "personality" that I enjoy. I sold the other one and haven't looked back.

it's an allrounder ... perfectly in any tuning range.
i love it. and the others, too. ;-)
