This could be the dumbest question, however I need to ask.
I need to purchase heads for my snare, Tom Tom and floor tom. All I need is fat sound.
I dont care about the manufacturer, however If you suggest I would go with them.

Please recommend howmany ply head I should purchase or does the number of Ply matter?

again I need the drum sound in Fleetwood Mac Rumours album or Eagles Long Run album, at least close.! ( without the mic deal)

really appreciate and thanks in advance in helping this beginner.

Get a Remo Ambassador CS (or any equivalent dotted single ply head) for the snare and coated Remo Emperors (or equivalent two ply heads from any manufacturer) for the toms.

I think we ought to know the size of the drums and wood they are made from first. Coated heads sound good on some kits and others not so good. I know coated emperors or g2's on my yamaha's don't sound good at all, the only coated head that sounds decent on my kit is an ambassador. With the snare depending on size and depth and shell material a regular coated ambassador might sound better.
