The NEW Premier Artist Maple/Birch's

Anyone played on the newer Artist Maple/Birch's?

What were your thoughts and opinions? How is the hardware and tone? Bearing edges?

I'm also interested in these drums.

A quick look at their website shows plenty of snares and drum kits to choose from. They're also very well priced, probably because the pound has depreciated so much the last few years compared to the euro.

These Artist kits sell for € 700-800 but intermediate kits normally don't offer such a vast amount of options - with snares from birch and maple to brass and steel - which makes me wonder whether this series is intermediate or semi-pro? Seems like very undervalued kits.
