Evans EC Resonant heads,anyone tried?

Has anyone tried these yet? I have the Evans EC2's batters on my Sonor 1007 kit with stock resos and i'm looking at changing them.

I haven't tried them, but I am very traditional sometimes. I will stick with G1 Clears, Ambassador Clears or Genera Resonant 10mil not the Resonant Glass. They sound too dull to me.

Bob is an incredible R&D guy, but I can't help but think he's designing for the studio drummer or basement hobbyist. In a live setting mic'd or not, those heads wouldn't do well. The higher frequency overtones are what carry your sound.
