Anyone know where i can purchase these mounts? I have a Sonor Force 1007 kit,and i'm adding a PDP rack and i would like to use suspension mounts instead of the standard tom mounts that are on there now and make my kick a virgin kick.

Do you mean these?

Mine came with the set when I bought years ago. Aside from searching ebay and such, I guess you could go to Sonor directly. Maybe a GC or musiciansfriend.

Using a rack clamp, identical to any other suspension system.

The Sonor TAR system is/was used on the Force Series and they're not the top-end of their mounting solutions. They're not terrible; but you might be better off going third party with RIMS mounts. If nothing else, the availability is better.

Keep in mind that you will need to drill a hole into your shell tro accomodate the T.A.R mount. If you decide you still want to go ahead with it, any Sonor dealer can get the mount in for you.

The airhole actually sits a little higher than where the TAR mount needs to be drilled. On the 3007 series, the airhole sits behind the mount and isnt visible.

Thanks for the advice.I didn't know if mounting the toms to the rack would cause to much stress on the shells using the original mounts.
