Weatherking "X"

Is the Remo Weatherking "X" a new head? It's all black and has a pretty interesting flavor on the drums I saw them on today.

I'm not big on Remo's anymore...been happily using Evans.

Anyone using them?

The line apparently is called Black Suede, and comes in the variants of Ambassador, Emperor, Powerstroke and Black X, which probably is the one you are talking about.
