I recently played on a friends senior recital and it turned out great. We mostly played funky and bluesy tunes, but this one song turned out great.
The mix is perfect, so have a listen... Everyone playing on the track sounds pretty damn great.

Hey Moogoo,
You know, we've known each other on the Internet for a couple of years, and although I've always respected your playing, I have to be honest to say that there was always/at least to me/ something not quite right chemistry wise with the guys you were playing with. That doesn't mean there was a thing wrong with your stuff. But to me, it was what it was.
This band seems like you've kinda found yourself. This was a great concept for you and you sound great. But I think for the first time you've finally gotten with some players who sound like they belong together. That guitar player especially is wonderful for this repertoire and you play off him well. The Fender rhodes/ I assume/ gives the vibe a real kinda 70s CTI feel that I thought was perfect for the direction. Yeah, this sounds like a real working band. You need to keep these guys. Congrats on this.

You got it, sir. Loved your playing, and the keys were working with you very nicely. Not sure if I share Matt's opinion of the guitar work.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I agree. All my professors, including the great Donald Brown claims that the rhythm section has great chemistry... I agree with your assessment of previous recordings, because I felt the same way..
and Aydee, I agree with your feelings towards the guitar playing. The guitar tone is terrible and the guy doesn't really give a shit, he's just bullshitting his way through the degree so he can get a masters in recording.
