HAHA! Funny. If you set aside the goofy stage presence, however, and just listen to the music, the fellow plays very well.

That's an example of how stage presence can really make or break a song.

That guy would probably be one of the funniest guys to hang with... and although the playing ended up way over the top, I found it funny.. Especially at the end when the singer turns to the guitar player and points at the drummer with that look on her face.. LOL
It may have been his one and only shot at fame and he was taking it...
very cool!

Very cool. He actually seems to be a very good drummer. He probably just saw a video of some American rock band on Youtube or something and decided that that's what he should look like too.
It's also cool to note that he's playing on what appears to be either a keystone or transition badge supraphonic. You can see it right toward the end of the vid.

Yea he probably saw some videos of Keith Moon and Lars. I love how he kept standing up. I was wondering if he was going to knock over his drums and cymbal stands at the end. Cool video.

At last....a role model.
Some things never change (Two days ago).
The hotel Royal coffee shop in Bangkok has bands (always with a hot chick) sounding just like that.
Music doesn't come into it :-))

I went on a cruise a few years ago, and there was a group from Thailand I think, that on Friday night, ran a karaoke event, and on Saturday night looked just like this group, singing rock songs phonetically. The room wasn't very crowded.

I agree, he played the part perfectly (to my knowledge at least). I really like the head banging at the end.

Or an oddly larger Herve Villechaize.

Hey, pretty soon he'll have an endorsement deal and won't have to use a squeaky pedal anymore.

that's the absolute truth. It's amazing how he dominates the performance from the back row and even lip synchs the dramatic vocal parts haha. She might as well stand behind him

Wow,
I loved this guy. That is what all musicians should be doing. The guy was obviously having fun and getting into it.
I would rather watch him play than some of the other emotionless monster drummers out there.
When I play my first gig, I am going to totally attempt to be into it like this guy.
I will post it so you all can see and laugh if you want.
I would really like to watch him play slayer!

that video was in 1991, i'm not sure youtube existed then. I'm pretty sure that guy is just out of his mind
