Wow. The way he hits the cymbals in this is interesting. What technique is that? Leaving the stick tip on the cymbal and hitting with the body of the stick. Anyway, you're so right, Steve perfectly compliments the song and has the feel down packed!

I dont know how hes doing that thing with the ride and the snare, there is absolutely no rebound at all.

He's just laying into the ride with the stick to give the sound a more accented and "stifled" tone I guess you could say.
