Hey everyone,

I have some awesome news to share.

I have just been offered a Silver level Vic Firth endorsement here in Australia.

From what I understand it entitles me to less 40% discount to vic firth drumstick products.

Cheers,

That's awesome, Andrew!

or as Aussies say "That's ace!" (I hope I didn't sound like a tacky American)

Thanks guys,

Just been offered a gig for mid April, to do one of my workshops at a camp for kids with physical and intellectual disabilities somewhere in the Blue Mountains on the outskirts of Sydney. Should be a very cool gig.

Cheers,

Andy

Good luck!

Thanks guys,

Im now endorsed by DW, Zildjian and now Vic Firth here in Australia.

It's been a lot of hard work, for people who dont know what I do, I have been becoming a bit of a profiled player for quite some time. I was in Modern Drummer's On The Move back in March 2004 and have since had appearances in Drum!, Drumscene here in Australia and my DVD recently got a 3 stars out of 5 in UK's Rhythm magazine.

Despite having Cerebral Palsy, I have worked pretty hard over the past 18 years as a drummer playing with various bands, motivational speaker, clinician and drum set educator.

Apart from playing in bands from time to time, I run a drum workshop for people with disabilities, to help them find their own creative element, and also perform at various events and conferences all over the country.

It hasn't been easy to achieve all this. My drum teachers have always played a key role in helping me get the results I want.

The main message I try and put out to people, no matter how tough things get, don't ever give up!!!

Cheers,

Andy
