New stanton moore album...

I don't believe there's a thread on this, but there's a new Stanton Moore trio album coming out the 22nd called Emphasis. I'm psyched.There's also supposedly a new Garage A Trois album also. Woot woot.

When my band was on tour in December we stopped down in New Orleans and volunteered for 5 days. That Thursday night, we were walking down the street and we noticed a hand-written sign in the window of The DBA that Garage A Trois was playing there that night... so of course we went. Turns out it was their pre-recording party (they were going in the studio the following day to record the new album). It was AMAZING!!!!

It was a little club (maybe 200 people?), and I squeezed my way to the front - I was about 6 feet from Stanton, and I could've touched Mike's percussion setup if I wanted haha. They were NASTY!!!

And that night they had Marco Benevento on keys instead of Charlie Hunter on guitar. I love Charlie, don't get me wrong, but the wan Benevento mixed with those guys was UNREAL.

Any word on a release date?
