Just a little diddy, with four tracks, Bass, Organ, Rhythm guitar, and lead, and yours truly on drums enjoy. My bass drum needs a boost and I will work on that.

Sounds great John :) So all the instruments were programmed yourself in Garage Band? I don't know much about it.

V cool, GD! I can imagine John Fogerty, Tina Turner, & David Cayton of Blood Sweat & Tears singing over the piece.

Fun little ditty.
An honest question, though. No insult intended. Shouldn't this be in the Off Topic Lounge? I mean, it's you playing a video game, right? Opinions requested. I'm open on this one for future reference.

I think you're thinking of Rock Band. Garage Band is an audio program where you create the parts yourself isn't it? Those are his drums on the track.

No Insult taken but sorry, its not a video game. Garageband is Apple's music production software, that can be used with a keyboard, Like my M-Audio Oxygen 8 v2, and a mixer, like my M-Audio Pre USB/Amp, and two microphones. I have written other music using this software before and I can assure you its not a video game.
1000.00 for drums, 300.00 for mixer and mics, 1000.00 for the laptop, 500.00 for cymbals,125.00 for the M-Audio Keyboard midi controller,
video game? Me thinks not. I guess what you are really trying to say is that the drums sounded so good, you couldn't tell if they were real?
You can see this "non-video game gear" in this thread.

I don't think he was implying anything about the sound of your drums. I think that he just confused Garage Band with Rock Band or some similar game.
Cool track though. The snare seems a bit bright and cold, - it could use some warmer tones in my opinion. The guitar track is very happy and pleasant but the snare seems like it belongs in more of a metal setting but that's more of a matter of taste. The composition was nice.

Thanks for your comments. I do think DB was confusing GarageBand with something else. But no problem.

Exactly correct. I had just finished watching a discussion of Rock Band and similar games and I had that stuck in my head. No insult about the sound of your drums at all. I was more impressed with how good the sound of drums is getting in games!
