View Full Version : My Mapex and Gretsch kits

So I just stepped into modern times and purchased a digital camera and figured I would post a few pics of my 2 kits.
Mapex Pro M, 6 pc. in Trans. Midnight Black laquer.
10,12,14,16, 22x18, 5.5x14 snare and also a 12x7 Black Panther Cherry/Maple snare.
Cymbals are all Sabian
14 HHXx-celerator hats, 16,18AAX Stage Crash, 18 Vault crash, 20 AAX stage ride
16,20 Pro China and 10 Pro splash with a Zilbel inverted on top.

The 2nd and newest kit is a Gretsch Catalina Club Mod 4 pc. in Red Glitter/black stripe wrap. 12, 16, 22x20, 5.5x14 snare. Cymbals are same as the other kit, just not using all of them on the smaller kit.

try resizing them to something reasonable like 640x480 or 800x600

nice kits. i especially like the little club mod!

hows that 22x20 bass drum sound? pretty big i would assume...

Tuxido, thanks a ton for fixing my pics. Nimby, the Gretsch bass drum sounds great! I just put an Aquarian SKII on it 2day and was very pleased, no other internal muffling needed. I failed to mention earlier, but the Gretsch came with Evans G1 coated and I threw some on clear G1's on the bottoms and I am very pleased with the sound of the toms. On the Mapex kit I have clear G2's over factory Remo UT resos. The Mapex rarely leaves my house so no need to replace the resos just yet. Thanks for the replies and keep em coming.

I like the upside down tom holder on the stand... that's a clever touch.

Doh!! I'm sorry for the mistake Sabian, I thought the gretsch was a Toxido's kit. I said the color is really amazing. I love it!!!! Congrat!!!
