Nice looking drums,... How did you find a 13.5 inch head for that snare?

I really like the black hardware with that wood. What kind of music do you play?

Peace!

Agreed... I didn't know Evans made 13.5" snare heads. Either way, I love the look of the kit, really nice wood grain.

Beautiful kit!! The sideways Yamaha logo made me tilt my head sideways though!! Great finish on them. I also really like the black lugs against that wood grain finish.

Hey, nice set.. I'm looking to buy a Stage Custom Advantage myself. I was just wondering if you know what the difference is between a normal Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage, and a Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage Nouveau?

thank you!.. Nouveau it's just the name of the lugs system.. it works like a normal lug, but you can also remove all lugs to make the head change faster and simple.

"New design with acorns Nouveau
Yamaha applies to this series the anchoring system of high-end batteries using FRC (Fiber Reinforced Composite). This system achieves a flotation of the timbales that eliminates contact between acorns and hull, allowing helmets vibrate more freely and stability. In addition, this system allows for a more rapid change patch since it does not need to remove the screws completely avoiding losses washers, etc..
The hole air outlet, the system YESS of floating timbales and the anchor point of acorns nouveau type are located in the hub of each hull, which is considered the point of minimal influence on the resonance of helmets, which translates to the maximum possible tonal response." Any problem with the lugs?
