Hi,

I've had a drumset for exactly a year now but have only had like 3-4 rock lessons the first month I got my set. I'm actually interested in Jazz/Reggae/Soul and am looking for an instructor in NYC. Know of one? I'm a total beginner.

Thanks,

HR

Frank Katz at Drummers Collective. He's terrific at jazz and reggae. Best of luck!

My first thought was that Member here and lessons preacher Phil Maturano (http://drummerworld.com/forums/showpost.php?p=216095&postcount=1) could be one of the option since he's from New York and play Jazzy Afro-Cuban Rhythm.
