I have two versions of this song rough mixed. One is acoustic guitar, bass, clean electric lead and vocals. The other is all instruments with a dirtier guitar lead. Let me know which one you like better.
The one with all instruments is my first recording with my new Yamaha Electric Drum set. I know the drum part is not that great but I'm a beginning drummer. I'm a guitar player and wanted to record everything. This is also the first time I recorded a keyboard part also. This is not the final mix. I am looking for criticism on what effects I should use or remove and how you think the mix is as far as volumes of each part or any other helpful criticism I could get would be great.
Oh, this is also the first time my wife sang backup for me. She is so cool :-).
So I am playing all instruments and vocals with the exception of my wife doing some backup.
Any advice welcome.
