The hi-hats are just straight 16ths, I don't know the exact placement of the openings. But it sounds like you just open them between the 2nd and 3rd bass hit. and on the 4th and final beat of the measure. It switches around a little bit though, just develop a feel for the groove and then put the openings where they sound good, i wouldn't focus so much on trying to exactly replicate the sound, just to imitate it.

Im not so sure its straight 16ths are u postitive..sounds like there are some 32nds in there played as doubles...but yeah i think im gonna just try and work it out...ill start with straight sixteenths and add the openings and then see if i can pin point what i think are doubles...thanx guys

I only listened to it once or twice on you tube, and it was a live recording so it might be a little bit different or harder to hear. if you have a link to the specific version you want i might be able to help you more.

im looking for the version of the studio recorded song...i dont know if u have it or not...but im sure they have some sort of video to it on youtube...not necessarily a music video but just something someone threw together with pics...again i could probably get this with some hard work but i get impatient and i seem to get lost in this one
