Hey Folks!
I'm transcribing the JoJo Mayer Solo that you can find here on Drummerworld, I think it is called "Performance 3" - you can find it on JoJos Page right here.
Check it out, it is great stuff, I'll add the stickings later. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them. Don't bother practising this if you are a beginner since it is really really really difficult.
I'll do the rest later on, but this is allready quite a bit of stuff and quite a challange.
Have fun!

Not that I know of... sorry man. I'm on completing this one but it is difficult as hell since I cannot slow down the video without loosing sound. Transcribing this stuff in realtime is a b****.

You could use Virtual DJ to slow it down without losing as much quality of sound.

Anyone have a transcription of the snare/floor tom lick Jojo likes to play often?
Trying to be more specific ...I know he has used it with Depart...and also I heard a recording more recently of him playin GC Hollywood and he used it there as well over his Gary Glitter vamp.
It sounds like it almost has it's origins in the Blushda...but something decidedly different is happening there and I can quite figure what is going on?

Seems almost like a Gadd lick
FRLRLL...? Is this correct? I have heard him use this one many times....
