Wow, that is a great set-up! I like how you mounted your ride. Nice finish too!

Thanks, I like the ride nice and close to me and this also eliminates some added weight to the hardware bag.

Welcome to the forum. Your kit looks very simple and pure. It seems it would be a real joy to play. How 'bout some specs to satisfy the geek in all of us.

NIce setup, bringing out a little bit of your inner Bonham I see. Nice acrolite as well.

Yeah, the first thing I noticed too was how you mounted your ride. Great idea to use the bass drum mount. It's nice when you can clear more floorspace. It looks less cluttered, and it must make placement of your right side crash stand easier. Nice backdrop and lighting too.

What a sweet setup, a really perfect one for gigs, looks killer, sounds killer(i guess!), and small footprint, welcome!

Her are some specs...
They are 6 ply maple ( not sure of the year) late eighties-early nineties. 5x14 acro,12,13,16 and 2 18x24's. a customs and I just switched to Paiste 2002 24" ride and Paiste 200218" crassh (love them!) I'm searching for another floor tom from the same era to recover to match. Either another 16 , 14 or preferably an 18".

Nice kit Carl! So is that a wrap finish? I love the color. All you need now is a Supra or a Black Beauty to compliment the Acro.

Nice. The first picture looks like an old ludwig ad.

I know I know. I think I'm just going to order a new 61/2 supra. All the older ones I see on the bay seem to be pitted or some other issue , and the pristine ones...well I would just rather a new one.

Man, with another floor tom and the 2oo2s, you really will be going all-out Bonham. Which is a good thing (well maybe not for your bank account). And yes, the 2oo2s are just great.

Well , I won't deny being a Bonham fan but the second floor would be so I can have two nearly identical kits. One for my studio and one always packed away for gigs. Although I could not resist the 1 up two down set-up every so often.
