Wanted, Walnut Cortex

I need 1/2" inlays for my 24" bd hoops (approx 80" long, or two 40" strips) in Ludwig's old Walnut Cortex finish, or something comparable.

The Cortex was a Formica item, but I'm not sure they still offer anything close (shiny wood finishes are hardly the rage these days!)

Anyone have a line on who might have some leftover? Or any cabinet/furniture makers in the L.A. area who might work with Formica? Basically, I need someone who can expertly cut it into 1/2" strips.

Or... I need to find some '70s 24" hoops with the original inlay (no luck over the last few months.)

And no, Ludwig doesn't have any more of that finish (although they did supply a pair of NOS black hoops with the groove... just no inlay.)

I think we should let Bermuda slide. That classified thread is almost useless.
Note to Dog Breath: Maybe we could put a complete classified section on this forum. I frequent some other forums, and their classified sections are active and really work. Just thought I would throw that out there.
