Ok I am learning this song but having a hard time on how to count some parts.. I don't know a good way to write it here without it becoming all gobbly gook so I will just post a link to the tab.. I am not sure how to count the end of the intro which is the 8th measure.

If I count it like 1+2+3e+a4+a it does not sound right when you listen to the song.

And I am totally lost on how to count out the 16th and 17th measure, looks like the 16th starts and ends on the a of 4 and how to count the 17th I am lost.. Any help would be appreciated.

I now know why some people say tabs can be a bad thing but it has got me thinking so it can't be all that bad.. Anyone know the link to that website that converts tabs to sheet?

Anyway here it is

Ok. The reason you can't count it as 1e+a2e... is because Bonzo is not playing straight 16th's. the 16th notes in the opening fill are swung. meaning they are played as a broken triplet. Basically, the feel of this piece is that of a half time shuffle, with the constant 16th note triplet pulse being implies. Here are the two fills from the beggening of the song written out(just the rythyms not the drums they are played on) with 2 different ways to count them. written underneath. I'd recommend using the half-time counting pattern.
