Application of the 5 7 ect stoke rolls...

Can anyone give me some examples on how the 5 or 7 stroke roll ect can be applied to a groove...ive learned alot on applying the paradiddle and its inversions and ive been working on some funkish linear grooves...(i have rick lathams dvd) but im not sure on how to apply these rolls into grooves and fills...any and all help is appreciated...thanx guys

Sweet a response and thanx i was actually just thinking of that...i love playing paradiddles and their inversions that way....creating really cool funk rock and halftime rock feels...it really spices things up a bit...ill deff give that a shot
