Question regarding a drum rhythm

I'm a producer, and I like to ask you a question regarding drum programming / loops.

Does anybody know whats the name of the drum rhythm of following songs :

There are drummers out there who will record parts for you using Pro Tools. It will definately give you a more authentic sound. See links.

But I'm just producing a publisher demo, not a cut, and I'm very much sticked to Cubase using drum loops to construct the song structure.

The process of songwriting and programming the drums needs to be in my hand at this stage .

When the demo is ready I might consider to order a demo ...

Not sure if they are named, but back in the day I would have been dancing a cha cha to the music.

I've heard these rhythms a hundred times it seems...Never really knew what to call it myself! Sounds like cross between a Cha cha and a Rhumba, or Bolero (not like Ravel's Bolero). I think this rhythm has been adapted for drumset so many times over the years that it may not fall under a traditional Latin rhythm. It does, however, seem to have the underlying quarter note pulse of a Cha cha. Hopefully we can get more opinions.
