Anyone else use them?

I once got told about the old putting a credit card trick in front of your beater to give a nice click sound.

Then i found these danmar bad boys!!

Play it with the plastic side of the beater playing on the iron conbra and it sounds sweet.
Still get the thud but the click sounds helps it cut through!

Anyone else do this?!

yep,vinne paul from pantera used to tape silver dollars to his bass for that click, i found something new the other day too ,gibraltar makes a carbon graphite kick pad that does the same thing and is way more durable than a credit card and wont tear your skin like a silver dollar.

or a few quid from Rockem/Ebay they are three adhesive discs that you can stick whatever under.
but be sure too choose wisely as they really stick hard.
I decided to use them for reinforcement only as I am not a mettaller.
