I'm looking for a good, well-made stick bag. I've seen Protection Racket and Altieri. Are there any others?

Check out ProMark's JSB5 oversized padded bag, and Reunion Blues leather. Both are very nice. I've had my ProMark bag (w/shoulder strap) for close to 20 years now -- still in perfect condition.

Also check out the Yamaha/Peter Erskine/Beato YBP Standing Stickbag models (2 where made, one with and one without tabletop, I have the first one) really great thing.

Meihl (or however you spell the brand name) pro-bag (but still quite cheap) is very good with 4 different sections to put your sticks into and hold them separate which i love as i need brushes for jazz, rods and then different sticks for different music so easier to access in gigs etc. Also well made but the only down side is not that easy to attach to floor tom. Also has handy pockets for drum key, hi-hat clutch etc.
