don't mind the cracked china - i've got two new ones coming this weekend ;)
somebody else broke this one, and i bought it from them to cut down in size, i've never broken a cymbal!

this first picture is an HDR composite shot (made of 4 different images of varying exposure levels), and the next 2 are both Photomerge panoramas, which explains the distortion you might notice.

That's a new Fender Aerodyne Jazz bass, a 1991 Gibson Les Paul Studio, and a Squier SubSonic baritone guitar (the ONLY decent guitar to ever come out of those factories)

let me know what you think!

Nice drums, nice shots and a nice room.

That's it, I'm sick of seeing your drums. I move that pictures of them be forbidden on the forums. In fact you should just totally get rid of the drums. I'll PM you my address...

By the way... I think your kit is overloved.

I could look at these pics the whole day!! Looks even more comfortable now, beautiful set-up. And many small cymbals, whether splashes, cup chimes...

I still cant get over how awesome your kit is, the finish is well...epic and your cymbals are wicked. I cant get my eyes off your splash tree growing over your high-hat. Smart idea keeping the stands, the rack looks like it would be hard to lug around, and there is always room for another kit :) Seriously jealous of your kit (in a very good way). Can I ask how much you payed for the whole set up? Oh and I never noticed how futuristic the bass drums spurs were until now.

Your set up looks great!! What made you decide to go with the Pearl rack vs. Gibraltar/DW or other brand?

Now after looking at that rack maybe I should have gotten a Pearl. The square tubing that supports the toms and cymbals are anodized velo (clear). We have an anodizing line here at my work and I could have taken those square tubes, strip them, and re-anodize them any color I wanted, at least any where from clear to champagne to dark bronze to black. I also bet we have a die lying around work somewhere that is very similar to that one and I could get it extruded and build my own custom rack with Pearl hardware. Hmmmm...The wheels are turning.

If you don't mind, keep an eye on the anodized finish. I am wondering how it holds up to the clamps and pressure of the drums hanging on the rack. Look around the area where the clamps are to see if there is any crazing (little spider web looking lines that will be at the pressure points). It probably won't ever have any, but I am just curious.

Anyhow, you have made some awesome choices. A gorgeous setup all the way around, and yes I am envious!!

Thanks guys!

Yes, Gavin Harrison is a big influence on my playing- right from my beginnings, i've tried to emulate his precision, accuracy, and innovative improvisational nature.

Drumr0 - I'll keep an eye on the finish, for sure! i'm really careful with my gear in the first place, but i'm also curious to see how the anodizing will hold up.

cavica - i have NO idea how much i've spent, but ballpark, i'd estimate about 4,200 US. I got the 6-piece S-Class shell pack for only $1250 shipped :)
I don't mess around when it comes to quality, in any aspect of my life ;-) except my actual playing of course, i need so much work on that!!
