Hi there,
Looking for a mid-range not real expensive but not junk either, metronome to help my drumming.. Does anyone have an opinion on them, brand wise, etc?
Thanks for any and all help!

I'm very happy with my BOSS. Dr BEAT Model-DB30.
Positive-easy to use buttons, enough click configurations.
Always travels with me & my pad & ok to use with the kits.

I have two nomes
one is a Wittner with bell wind up jobby which I got from a boot sale for £10.00.

The other is a small digital korg MA30

which I got this Xmas; these are about 29-19$ or about £15-20
The great thing about the wind up is that it so easy to use and very visual. It has this sliding mechanism on the side to set for a good loud ding on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th or 8th click.....no volume control.
Now the MA30: pretty versatile can be set for all of the above rhythms plus triplets + shuffle + different time signatures and stuff I still Haven't sussed yet.I find it a little fussy to programme although it does have volume control and note pitch...
I hope this helps....KH

Korg MA-30 is definitely a cheap versatile metronome.

Not sure what is or isn't expensive for you, however, I recommend the Tama RhythmWatch RW105..
It absolutely smokes...

Does that Korg have a stereo output to headphones? My son uses a different model Korg and a Seiko both are mono headphone output and he found it annoying to listen to in one ear. We bought the Boss DB-30 and he is very happy.

Apparently it's only mono, i use it through a guitar amp however, so works for me. Wanna buy me a Boss DB-30? I'd be very happy too ;).
