Title pretty much sums it up. These beaters are alot lighter than the sonic hammers! they also feel alot more agile

I have a serious affinity for those pedals. They look remotely familiar...aside form the beaters. I lost the sonic hammers because I thought they were heavy too. The ebay money paid for a couple replacements that were lighter, cheaper. and didn't poke the tops of my feet.
Looks good brother...enjoy

sticksnstonesrus has his drive shaft on correctly.
Ultimately you want the larger tube driving the smaller tube.

i noticed you have those on what looks to a roland kit,DO NOT USE THOSE BEATERS ON THE RUBBER BASS PAD! they will tear it up extremly fast always use felt beaters on rubber pads. i have those exact danmar beaters they are more harsh on surfaces than any other type of beater.

Yeah ive heared they tear up skins, but if you look im using an Evans EQ patch, are you sure i should still change to felt? they dont seem to be doing any damage

as the finish of the beaters wears off only the wood grain is left and it will cut easily through rubber, just warning a fellow roland player.

Might have to invest in the danmar felt beaters then :D, i dont like the sonic hammers much they are far too heavy
