Drums???

I want to start drumming but I don't know what equipment to get. It's new to me. I've played the guitar for a long time, but I want to try the drums. Anyone who can give me tips, advice, would be awesome

Find a local drummer and ask them about it. Ask them how they got into it, how they handled the many, many things from finding and buying a kit to finding a place to play it to learning technique and music. Have you ever even sat behind a set? Maybe take a few lessons first to see if it's what you want to do.
