Grestch Catalina club mod or Mapex M Birch?

I have been looking at the Catalina club mod for awhile now along with the Grestch Limited Edition Stealth Catalina set (the one with the 24" bass). I like the looks of both sets but have heard a few people comment on questionable quality on the sets. I also was looking at the 4 piece Mapex M Birch configuration with 24" bass. That also seems like a solid buy but I haven't heard a lot of comments on it. Can anyone comment on these sets or offer advice? Thanks in advance!

Both kits sounds pretty good, but the Mapex is undoubtedly higher quality in terms of the construction (and the shells have a lifetime warranty!)
