Hi!

First post on the forum, and I hope it will be a challenge for some of you! ;)

The thing is that I since about 1,5 year back play on a old drumset, which my father and uncle bought together second handed back in the second half of the 70's. When I started to play I got it from them, together with a pair of old cymbals. I didn't think much about it, but a couple of weeks ago I suddenly wanted to know what I was actually hitting.

I posted on a swedish drumforum and a couple of more playes, and what we know is that it is a Pearl-set made after 1969, as it was that year that they introduced the tom-mount and lugs. I've got some catalogs from 1968 and 1969, the -68 doesn't match at all, but the -69 matches perfectly.

However, there is no badge, as you will se on the pictures below... So it's very hard to tell what series they belong to... Except for the lack of badges they look very similar to a members Pearl President, there is the same lugs and tom-mount.

Anyhow, that's pretty much what I know about it... The sizes are as following: Bass: 20x14", tom: 12x8", floortom: 14x14", snare: 14x5,5"

So, hope that someone knows something, would appreciate any help extremely much!

Japanese no name stencil kit. I have one just like yours same ripple finish except in blue. Your kit appears to be in very nice shape. Play them an enjoy. Mine are badged ASTRO.
