Hello everyone. I'm new to these forums and new to drumming. Site is awesome so far with a lot of great advice. So I've been practicing my rudiments for a few weeks now on a remo practice pad and will be buying my first set very soon. I obviously don't want to go overboard with my first set, and am finding out that used is probably the best way to go. With that said I wanted to get your opinions on the set I'm thinking of getting and if it's worth the buy or not:

High-quality all-birch shells
Smooth satin oil blue to black fade finish

Two tom clamps
Bass drum pillow
Premium Remo drumheads

2 straight stands

Yeah...I was just browsing some pedals....too many to choose from for a noob. Again, this is my first set and don't want to spend a ton of money but I also don't want the thing to break in a month either.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Cheap Yamahas and Tamas aren't bad pedals at all!

You can ask any pro drummer or studio engineer and they will all say pacifics sounds the best for cheap drums(maple ones).
