One of the greatest things about this site is that it can educate you about the phenomenal skills of drummers with whom you are not familiar. Even though I have been in or around this business for nearly thirty years I still learn new things on this site whenever I look at it.
I had not heard of and nor was I familiar with the playing of either Dave Langguth or Cliff Almond. Having now searched the web for their playing I am totally knocked out. I confess that I remain fairly ignorant of many drummers in the latin scene (and I should do something about it) but Cliff Almond is one hell of a player. And Dave Langguth - how have I not heard of him?
So anyway, thanks Bernhard - for educating me, for educating others and for being such a positive force among the community of drummers worldwide!

I can truly say that Drummerworld has rejuvinated my interest in my drumming career. After I "retired" from the road, I played, but wasn't really "into" it. Now, I play daily, practice regularly, and learn something every time I log on.
A huge thanks to Bernhard, his staff, and this incredible site.

I too was traveling along the mundane road of mediocrity, but my interest in drumming has been re inspired by this site. I am still a mediocre drummer at best, but at least I can read, learn, and communicate with other drummers around the world.
I have learned a great deal about playing, different brands of drums and cymbals that I still wouldn't know about if I hadn't been here, and have gotten great advice on what to do on different subjects.
So my hat is off to Bernhard, Dog Breath, and Nutha Jason for starting this site and doing a fine job administrating this site.
A BIG thank you to you all!!

Yes, this site is a great place and it's good of you to point it out.
I'd encourage anyone to PayPal Bernhard some $$ - it's a great way to show support and it doesn't take much. The bandwidth ain't cheap and he really appreciates donations of any size to help cover his costs.

I love it, love it, love it !
Best use of webspace ever !
Thanks Bernhard, for helping all drummers gain answers to their questions, where they normally wouldn't, and maybe lose hope :).

I have learned a lot of new stuff about the drums that I don't know where I have found it anywhere else. I love other peoples opinions about things, and this is the perfect site for it. Thanks for allowing this whole page to be a part of the site! It's one of the sites, if not the site that I look on the most! Thanks again. =]

If Drummerworld was available to me back in 1982, I would have never graduated from high school.
