I just picked up a nice 5-piece set of Ludwig Elite (not sure what series) in the power configuration. With the kit came a double-pedal that has no identification on it. On the footboard are several vertical lines and around the outside of the lines is a series of circles. It's missing one of the knuckle joints and the extension shafts that go in the drive shaft. The knuckle joint is shaped similar to a "D" where it connects to the pedal while the shaft is square and looks to be about 1/4" in diameter. I took the pedal to Sam Ash and a drive shaft from an Iron Cobra fit the "D" perfectly. I need a replacement kit but don't really want to pay the $70 bucks that I was quoted. Would someone please off a suggestion?

I'd invest in a "name brand" pedal, and sell the "no-namer" to help finance your upgrade. You can also look on eBay. Here's an Axis drive shaft http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=bass+pedal+drive+shaft&category0=
