Funny you should ask. I guy I just sold a snare to sent me this email as we were discussing Sonor kits.

Here are the specs:
8X8, 10X8, 12X8, 14X14, 16X16, 20X16 with a 14X5.5 steel snare with Phonic hardware and an optional matching 12X5. 9ply beech shells (5mm) Semi Gloss birdseye amber finish.

Thanks much, Salicete. His kit is on sale here and I wanted do do some window shopping... but looking at your kit....wow!!!

That is a fact, though for some reason my boxer hates the sound of my drums. I'm sure it is the drums, and not my playing.....at least that is what I keep telling myself.

I'm guessing the new Steve Smith kit will be around the $5000.00 number.

Well guess what! It was sold the next day, before I could even get to the store..I was autographed too. and it went for $4200.
I guess I'll have to be happy with my yammie maple absolutes. Not too much of a problem; )
