Double Pedal..?

Hi,
I've got about £150 to spend on a double pedal, I'm not familiar on them, but of course I would like a double chain pedal, I was thinking about the big dog pro pedal, but are they any good?
Any advice would be appreciated.

How much american $ is that?

If it's what I think...I'd aim for Gibraltar or Pearl. Both make quality introductory double pedals...for a fairly decent cost.

It's like $300, but saying that, the economy/costs are all outta balance, a IC over there is like $330 at GC, over here its £275, like $550. I was looking at pearl pedals, but I could only find a single chain pedal for that price, and I really dislike single chains :(

Can I ask why you dislike single chains? Is there a noticeable difference?

Yup, I find double chain pedals far smoother, as well as being more resilent.
I just generally find they improve my playing and give me better "Gliding" so to speak.

The last double chain I played was a P-9-something...back in 1994...by Pearl. All I could afford, but it was a double chain and it was smooth and quick. I have no doubt that they offer something equivalent.

try out a dw 4000 i got mine for about 160 new. or the 7000

Are you able to A/B the two pedals somewhere? That would probably be your best bet to see which one is right for you. I got to try out the DW 4000 and the 7000 and I didn't like either of them. You might like the 5000 tho if you could save up some extra cash ;) Im sorry, ive never heard of the big dog pedal, so i have no info on that.

Ive got only a single pedal but tried the Big Dog and DW 5000 & DW 9000 and it is just rubbish compaired to that.
