Hi there,
Could anyone recommend a good guitar forum and also a good bass guitar forum? What's the most popular? What ones have the best source of information?
Any help would be appreciated!
Regards,
Sam

Yep. A thread I posted on there is now in its 5th thread.

this is something i've been kind of curious about.
why are there no guitar forums anywhere near the quality of drummerworld.
and on that note, how come no other forum i have ever visited is anywhere near as well organized, run, or informative as this.
I don't know wether its whos in this forum, the mods, or just the genious of bernhard, but no other forum can compete with this one.

I second www.talkbass.com. Yes it's a large forum but it's on the scale of drummerworld, as far as organization and professionalism. You might feel like no one will read your thread after it gets buried, but they will.
Also if you ever need to sell anything, 98% of the time you can sell it there first rather than Ebay. Where as here, no offense to anyone, but because of the younger age demographic, I have a harder time selling things here and I usually resort to Ebay.

I post at Talk Bass, and have sold there too. They have a feedback system just like ebay, so you can usually tell if a seller is a good risk.
I use the same screen name there if you ever visit. It it a bit of a zoo. If you don't log in for a week or two, there will be literally thousands and thousands of new posts. Of course that translates into tons of information to soak in.
