Can someone transcribe the drum part during the introduction of St. Thomas for me. I can't seem to figure it out.
Thanks a lot,
Lance

A rather simple intro :
He is using 2 toms :1 hi, 1 lo, and h.h. foot
I could transcribe it for you, but I don't know how to print music notation on this forum or if possible. So here is a geek notation version.
Anyway, if you know how to count swing 8th's (1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &)
it would be this : 1 (lo tom) &of2 (hi tom) &of3 (hi tom) 4 (hi tom). H.H. on 2 and 4
he is also possibly playing extreme light bass drum on all 4 quarter notes.
Let me know if you understand or not.

You can post transcriptions on the Free Jazz Institute. It's a great site.
