Anyone else think this is the greatest invention since sliced bread?
I can listen to tons of obscure, old school metal anytime, anywhere, that I would NEVER hear on normal radio.
Anyone catch that Velvet Revolver New Year's eve concert on satalite? They played tons of old GnR tunes.

I've had XM Radio for 2 years now and it is indeed great. Commercial free music 24/7 is obviously great. I also have to listen to 150 the comedy channel daily.

We have Sirius at work and I must say it is great. We all chipped in and bought it so it only costs us like $5 each a year. I really want to get one for my car too. Any type of music you want along with 4-5 comedy channels, news, sports and of course NFL games.. Very important when your stuck at work.

Only problem is it's supposed to be commercial free radio but I hear commercials now on just about every channel?? Surprised someone has not tried to sue them yet.

Yeah, sometimes I feel like its about 50/50 with commercials. Its really annoying. Plus the sound quality sucks big time. It sounds horrible in my opinion. I like it for the variety, but I think theres a long way to go with this technology.

I have XM and not Sirius, so I can't speak for their commercials, but there are NONE on the music stations on XM and I have mine attached to my surround sound and it sounds great. Surround sound also has wireless headphones so I can listen at a good volume while I play along, all day if I wish, and no commercials.
