Hey! I'm a 20-year-old drummer and I've been drumming as long as I can remember. I wanted to test out my new drumset and cymbals and this is the result.
A short solo just over 2 minutes. Hope you like it!

Some pictures of the drumsets, if you're intrested:

Don't mind the mic placement, pictures are taken after the drum takes :)

Very nice solo. Love the sound of the drums and cymbals. Is that a Muse shirt you're wearing?

Thank You all very much!

And yes, rendezvouz_drummer, it is a Muse -shirt. I saw them live some months ago and it was one of the most unbelievable experiences of my life.

A musical solo is something that I try to aim for. I find that playing through all of your licks is rather boring.

Beautiful as always!
Nice to see you around here again...very nice soloing! It shows musicality and a great groove... =)

But what were you doing in the fill at 1:01 mins? Sounds very smooth...

PS: I`m really digging those HHXtreme crashes. The big models like 17-19" really have a big sound! Trashiness, dark, sensitive...

Excellent!! Drums sound great! I really like the cymbal flavors you have going on, they all mix so nicely. That is one of the driest rides I have heard. The O-zone crash sounds good too. Nice job!!

WOW....superb playing, man....as Karl mentioned , i love the groove you've got going on from 1:20 and onward....very Keith Carlock-ish....

how do you like your Designers? looks like a very comfy setup....i aspire to own one of the top-end Sonor kits someday...my S-Class will have to suffice until then :-D

take care

Thank You all for your kind words. And I'm glad you noticed some Keith Carlock flavors there too, xopethx. He's definately one of my favourite drummers, especially after I saw his clinic this summer. It was superb.

The Designer kit is one of the best drumsets I've played. It's got everything: sound, looks, feel. Everytime I have it on a gig or in a studio session I know I can count on it 100% to give me it's best. The downside is that it weights a lot and has lots of volume, so it isn't suited for the smallest of gigs. But that's why I have other sets.
