Hi,

I would love it if you guys could check out my bands new tracks recorded over the last couple of months and let me know what you think.

The drums are recorded on my Pearl Masters Custom with a Ludwig Black Beauty Snare and a mixture of Sabian and Zildjian Cymbals.

Ryan, like your band, bud. Great, kind of raw energy, that I like. Snakecharmer & Red sky were powerful pieces,Whiskey was very U2esque (? ) and I enjoyed Burned by day.

Good band. Its got something to say.

Oh, the drumming... killer, good job.

Cool

Burned my day I wrote - sometimes drummers pick up a guitar too. Its the first thing I have accually wrote and recorded in a studio with the full band. I was a cool experience.

Very Nice! I thought Whiskey had a Smashing Pumpkins feel myself.... But I checked them all out. I was impressed.

Whiskey has a very Smashing Pumkins feel - and we realised that quite early. Our guitarist added some indie type hooks to try and take a bit of the smashing feel away. I then added the poppy chorus.

We dont mind our songs sounding inspired by other bands but we wouldnt want to be known for ripping great bands off.

Powerful.
Although I'm not into this style of music, you resemble me of Tre Cool in your playing...

lol - I would sometimes use Tre Cool sig sticks. (They are a nice heavy stick and quite durable) But thats about as far as that influence would go.

My fav drummers who influence my playing would be Bonham, Hawkins & Steve White though it probably doesnt show...lol - Influences are one thing but once the rest of the band starts up I find you just gotta fit into the pocket of the overall groove. That tends to be my style any how.
