For some reason in between my thumb and index finger i'm always sore, lately i've beenin playing alot more with traditional grip and it's at the point where its starting to really hurt, but not like tension pain. It's like pressure points are being rubbed against.
Has anyone else experienced this, or know why it happends or how to prevent this? thanks.
This weird pain is mostly on the left side of where the stick rests. closer to the index finger

First of all, follow every little thing in Jojo's dvd very carefully!! :)
With trad grip, you can widen the fulcrum point if needed, if you straighten the stick as paralel to your thumb as possible, the fulcrum will become from the standard thumb+index till thumbs and index fingers second joint, now experiment with different positions and find what's comfortable for you!
All in all, try to get the stick as straight and in line with your hand as possible, that's really the key for getting a good trad grip!
