Well, here it is, the snare is complete and ready to head to it's new home. The photo didn't turn out too well, lighting was an issue, but none the less, you get the idea. It looks much better in person.

Right on, from start to finish this has been an awesome looking build no doubt about it! Another sick drum from raven drums, awesome Birdseye and the shading is unbelievable it almost looks like a photo!

It is hand drawn in artist pencils, then sealed and finished in a high gloss lacquer.

Just beautiful! I actually like the lighting on the photo. Gives it a little more sublte appearance, I do have a question. Is that maple actually a birdseye or what they sometimes refer to as a quilted grain?

It's both...LOL. It has quilting thrughout, but is prominate with Birdseye.
