I'm looking for a cheap, easily-attachable attachment to put a 16 inch crash on a timbale setup's metal bar (the one that holds the cowbells, jam blocks, etc.)
I have an LP Tito Puente Brass Timbales set, with the stock cowbell/jam block holder metal rod. I'm looking for something that can bet put above the cowbells/jamblocks, and that will have a long enough boom rod for the cymbal to be comfortably away from the timbale heads/playing range, but still close enough to make striking the cymbal easy and comfortable.
Here's a picture of what my set looks like - http://lpmusic.com/Product_Showcase/Timbales/lp_tito_timbales.html
Basically, I'm trying to save weight/breakdown/space on not having to have an extra stand just for the cymbal. I looked at LP's splash claw, but that wouldn't serve my purposes.
Any ideas on products that would solve my problem?
