Which is a better jazz theory book?

my 2 cents-
Jazzology seems to spend much time on basics such as intervals and the circle of fifths (if you don't know much about theory this be a better starter book). The jazzology book only has a couple hundred pages compared to the 522 of the jazz theory book. If it were me, I'd go for the jazz theory book, because it probably covers more material. The endorsements don't hurt either.

conclusion- If you already know some basic theory, go for the jazz theory book.
