Tama Superstar Hyperdrive?

Hi,
i want to start by telling you guys im from sweden, my english is not so good, the reason Ive started this thread is to ask you about the Superstar Hyperdrive kit! Have anyone played on it, whats your opinion about it? Does it sound good and so on... Im thinking of buying a new drumkit, and the hyperdrive kit looks so cool! Anyone who has a Superstar will more than likely tout it's quality of construction and sound and of course price. And the new look is really awesome, the black or the fades. The tom sizes are really cool too.

I have a Hyperdrive kit. It's very nice. :) I love the shallow toms. The 18" deep kick is very punchy.

Where's the Hyper-Drive kick? 18X22?? I would want and am a big fan of 14x20's and 14x22's ... way more punchy and they get to the point quicker.

It is 18x22, yes. My previous Premier kit had a 16x22. I much prefer the 18. I also have a 14x24, and it is rather quick. I'm more into the thunderous kick sound. A big drum is supposed to sound like a big drum. heheheh Hold your stones. In fact, I'm about to take off the SKII and slap a PS3-like head on to improve it's thunderousity.

They look great, and I have the snare stand and the hihat stand and they are great quality. Welcome to the forum.
