Hey everyone, I was recently given this by my significant other for christmas and wow, what a great educational experience. This dvd goes way beyond teaching useless licks you'll never use or ego-driven drumsolos and really opens a whole new world of drumming. Simply stated, this dvd breaks the art of drumming down to the core, strips it of any ego at all, and displays the true art behind it. This dvd will show you, as it has shown me, that drumming is not only about what your hands and feet do or can do, but the whole body does and should do. It really expresses the spirit of drumming. Billy Ward is really a one- of-a-kind artist. I highly recommend this dvd.

Yep. Luckily I got to see the movie at an early stage of my musical development -- it drastically changed my approach to playing the drums for the better.

Great DVD. I definitely changed the way I think about drums. His new DVD, "Voices in My Head" is equally as valuable to me.

Ha! finally pre christmas presents have been opened and the jojo dvd is in my hands ( hope it helps me, Ray ). and for an encore I also got soul of the funky drummers featuring Jabo Starks & Clyde Stubblefield.

I'd love Billy's DVDs next . I went to a clinic of his, and he is the best communicator of drumming , that I've ever come across..

Another one of my favorites. Not much in the way of instructional, but just seeing two masters like themselves at work is enough
