Havent really shown my kit since I bought it, this is its current stage witch isn't all that great.
Im using what I have for the moment until I upgrade some things(notice the china, WTF)... All new heads(getting tomorrow), 2 new rides(I really want a 22" Istanbul SE Jazz Ride) , and a diff pair of lighter hats.

Pic taken with my camera on my phone, not to shabby

14X6.5 Blonde Birdseye maple Black Panther(not pictured)
SONOR Force 2007(all birch)
10X8 Tom(I sometimes swap for 12X8)
16x16 Floor
22X18 Kick

20" Bosphorus Traditional Ride
18" Wuhan cheapy with a crack and I just use it for a filler
14" Zildjain K med Hats

Nice, basic, and compact, I like it. I like the 10/16 setup as well. The contrast between the two can be a great thing.

Yea I also like the 10/16 contrast but I prefere bop sizes, Im going to be upgrading my kit to a standard bop sizes (hopefully a canopus or vintage slingy/luddy kit) 12x8 14x14 and 18x14 hopefully be early 2008

That's a great setup. I also like a 10" up top as I like to have that high-pitched note when I want to call on it...and find that anything bigger is too close to the tone of the floor toms to be *as* musical.

Ya I wish my computer was working, My graphics card is toast. So for now I have to use my bro's comp, I will hopefully have a card in a week or so, Its either graphics card or new remo ambassadors all around(and I'm still using the stock heads) :-\

I have a great setup for recording but I only have 1 over head, Ill try to have clips asap and with actual heads too, I can't wait lol.

Ive been playing I think.. 2 years(1 year single pedal) and I've been taking lessons for almost 1 of them studying jazz.

P.S. If anyone wants to sell their 22" SE Jazz Ill take it! lol

I like it!
Yes - the 10/16/22 setup is nice (equal head diameter separating the drums).
You can do a lot of "damage" there.

And - Jayp - that's a pretty good photo from your phone!

I like that setup. Very simple and practical. Reminds me a lot of mine.

JayP, you have a VERY nice set up that I would KILL to have.
What do you have on your walls there? I live in an apartment, would that stuff take in all the sounds? Thanks in advance.

The stuff on the walls is just uhaul blankets i had lying around, my room has horrible acoustics but this deffinitly helps reduce some of the horrible overtones .

The kit is a nice kit for jazz i wish my ride was lighter and had more wash, and the only other thing is my bass drums a 22 a ittle to big for my taste
