Hey guys. I recently helped my brother record some music for his final in his recording class. It was cool, they have a full studio with protools and lots of good equipment. Because it was a final project, and not a real band, we didn't have a lot of prep time. This was after our second practice session, and we just needed 3 minutes worth of music. We didn't use a click track, and we did it in 2 takes, so it's nothing amazing, but I think my brother did a pretty darn good job mixing and mastering it.

He did all the vocals, piano, bass, and layered his trombone playing along with that solo. Oh and he composed the piece too. Mostly I'm proud of him, but it's cool to hear myself playing and not have it be a total train wreck. I know there are a couple shaky spots, and my fills aren't all that creative, but this was a "lets just get this done so we can go home" situation. We plan to do more songs. Anyway, it's the song called Cantaloupe Island / Guinnevere, not the silliness one.
